Review and Giveaway!: ECOZOO Backpack by EcoGear

JUST IN TIME FOR BACK TO (PRE)SCHOOL!
I have long been searching for a backpack that was just the right size for my newly turned preschooler. I needed something that was easy for her to load up and to carry, but that was able to hold all of the things she would attempt to shove in. That is why I was so happy to find this super-cute line of eco-friendly bags from Ecogear/Ecotech!
Lil and I tried out the ECOZOO Panda, one of four designs in the ECOZOO line. When the package arrived we were both excited and when we opened the box, the first thing that Lil did was to pick up the Panda and hug it-- That is one of the things that make this a great preschool bag. The animals are three- dimensional and soft, so they really do seem like stuffed animals! When it was time to head out for dinner on the town, she filled it to the brim with books, cars, crayons, her baby doll and all of his (many!) accessories and away we went. I like that the bag has no pockets on the inside or out which could hide little pieces of anything- I have found that lots of pockets are a must-have for diaper bags, but not a helpful thing when a preschooler is looking for the alligator toy that she must have right this second! Which brings me to the ECOZOO Panda's one downside, the toggle style clasp is simply too difficult for my little Lil to manage on her own. While this leads to a bit of frustration on her part, it could actually serve me well in some instances because it means that a) the bag will not just randomly open and b) it cannot be opened without my knowledge which in theory means that its contents cannot be dumped out along the street somewhere. Of course that is just a theory and I am sure that it will not be long before her little fingers are nimble enough to open and close it on her own!

One of my favorite features of this bag is the eco-friendly materials used to produce it. The ECOZOO bags are made with organically-grown cotton canvas & rope materials, recycled plastic components, and nontoxic dyes. Plus, the company shares my philosophy that every little bit helps when it comes to the health of our planet and its people.
The Panda, Elephant, Pig, and Puppy ECOZOO bags are just some of the many eco-friendly products for little people and big ones alike made by Ecogear/Ecotech! Check out their Lifestyle line the Coho which looks to me like it would function perfectly as a combination diaper bag and cute bag for mom!

The Official Review:
(All Reviews on a 4 Star Scale)
Functionality *** The only thing preventing the Panda from getting that fourth star is that way that it fastens.
Cost ** At $29.99, it is sort of a pricey little panda, but if you are looking for a cute, preschool sized, and eco-friendly backpack, this one will definitely be worth it to you!
Style **** The bag is super cute and its "green" qualities, including the company's commitment to "planet-friendly practices" give this bag a full four stars for style!
Overall ***

SNOW LEOPARD is nice

the SNOW LEOPARD or BIGHORN
Love the way they recycle and care and use non-toxic dyes. They have them for all ages and moods. One bad thing about this product- they last so the kids cannot say mom I need a new one- but a great thing is if they kill it somehow the company is good about exchanging it may have been a defect
