Review: Bumkins Super Bibs

Cute and super functional, yes I have found the perfect bib!

I have to start off with they are Made In The USA. These Bumkins bibs definitely live up to their name Super Bib! And does my precious Badger not look Super adorable?! I found these at Toys-R-Us and at first thought the $5.99 price tag was a bit high for one bib. I read the tag and it said you can rinse out and hang dry and I thought hmm, if I had three that would be a day's worth and I would not have to wash as often. I do not know about y'all (yes I just wrote y'all), but I hate when you leave the bibs in the laundry and then they get all smelly and you can never really get them to look clean again. Well, guess what, these eliminate that issue. I just rinse, I typically use hot water and dish soap, squeeze and hang the bib on the back of her highchair and by the next meal time it is dry and ready for the next mess. In addition to they just plain work, they are made of waterproof fabric and are stain and odor resistant. The bib is really well-designed and covers the shoulders nicely, stays put and the catch-all pocket actually catches! The adjustable velcro closure is nice on this bib, it has a long band of velcro so it really does fit your baby from first feedings into toddlerdom. Badger started wearing her bibs at 6 months and now she is almost one, the bibs continue to fit with a lot of growing room and there are still no stains on them. Another plus is no pulling the bib off over the head! Also, if you are into things being PVC, BPA, Phthalate and Vinyl free then yet another reason to love these bibs.

Functionality **** - This bib does exactly what a bib is suppose to do, keep the kid clean and catch the dropped food. In addition, it is super easy to keep clean and free from stains!

Cost *** - I purchased them for $5.99 at Toys-R-Us, but on the website they sell for $7.95 or 3 for $19.95. I fully think this bib is worth it and I do not think that I will ever have to purchase another bib, so to me that is money well spent.

Style **** - The bibs can currently be purchased in 21 fabrics! I mean that is choice. Whether you are kooky or reserved, you can find a fabric you like, boy or girl! I purchased the Dr. Seuss theme because that was really all they had at the store, but I also happen to love them and Badger likes looking at them as well.

Overall Rating **** - Ok, so it is only a bib, but the little things in life make life better. For me, less laundry is a big thing in my book, after all I only have one of me around the house right now.
