Happy Sunday! I just wanted to do a short update of what's been going on around our royal mansion and remind you of the great stuff going on here at Kid Buy Products.
We're recovering from a fun weekend with some old friends that we've known since junior high. Now that we have children, our idea of "fun" is a lot more subdued, and while I'd like to be able to sleep in after a late night of hanging out and catching up, it's really awesome to have moved on to sharing yet anot
her new chapter in our lives with Dan and Emily.
What else to tell you? We're on the countdown to preschool which starts in just 3 short weeks. I'm very excited for Nadia because I really think she's going to love being at school and making new friends. We've made some big steps in the potty-training arena which is a relief. She's not 100% there yet, but at least there's now a light at the end of the tunnel. It was very refreshing to go to Target and only have to buy one size of diapers for a change.
As for what's happening here at Kid Buy Products, we're quickly getting back into the swing of things. Our transition from Baby Buy Products is complete. You can expect an updated look to our new site sometime within the next month. You still have a few days to enter our four current giveaways. You can also expect a new one to be announced later this week.
Finally, we'll be kicking off the new school year on September 2nd with the start of our Back-to-Preschool Shoe-tacular complete with reviews and giveaways of lots of new fall shoe styles for the preschool set and their younger siblings. The staff here at Kid Buy Products is super excited for what should be a really awesome event. You can keep checking back to see the featured shoe of the day, or you can sign up for our email updates and be certain not to miss out on any of the chances to win some great shoes for your kids.
I think that's about all I've got for today. As I've been typing, my husband just finished assembling Nadia's new Gasell chair from Ikea. I love the minimalist look and am hoping that it's going to have a very positive effect on our squirmy little princess' table manners at dinnertime. Thanks again Melissa for the heads up on what seems to be a great product!
That's all for this week. Hopefully you're enjoying these last few wonderful days of summer.

If you'd asked me 5 years ago I couldn't have predicted that we'd all be sitting around at midnight on a Saturday talking about parenting strategies - and enjoying it - but there we were! We had a terrific time, thanks for having us. (By the way, he slept for 30 mins on the way home. The first 30. So he was up for the day before we got out of Chicago. Maybe you could review child sedatives next? Kidding!)
As I was thinking about our kids growing up together, it made me wonder... What would our grandchild be like if Nadia and Elliott were to get married. Joe + Dan? Could this be good? Maybe we should keep the kids apart??
