Review: Travel Case by DwellStudio

I can't remember when it was that I first saw the bedding by DwellStudio, but I instantly fell in love. I appreciate the modern designs and bold, but muted colors. The prints are definitely for children without being too cutesy. They don't just make bedding, either. Their product list keeps growing and now includes items for the bath, toys and even diaper bags, not to mention goodies for grown-ups, too! I'd love to get my hands on the beautiful Charlotte Diaper Tote. It seems to have everything I'm looking for in a bag, including stroller clips, but is attractive to look at as well. Not so diaper bag-ish, more of a mommy bag!

What I did get the opportunity to give a try out was the small Gio Aqua Travel Case. Made out of a coated canvas, you'll never have to worry about these little cases getting dirty. They wipe right off with a damp paper towel. The inside of the cases have a waterproof lining which means you won't have to worry about anything leaking out. We spent a lot of time traveling with our infant and toddler last summer, and it's always night to keep their "toiletries" and various other medicines, etc. in the same place. The small case was perfect for holding Isaac's baby Tylenol, a thermometer, fingernail clippers, body wash, etc. No one wants to wake up in a strange hotel room, in an unfamiliar city to a baby with a fever and not be prepared. The small case also fit perfectly in my suitcase and is rigid enough to hold it's shape regardless of how it gets stuffed into an already jam-packed bag!

I love the Gio print, I have the aqua, but there is a lemon version as well. It's so cute and playful with the elephants, squirrels and kangaroos, but the muted colors keep it from being over-poweringly childish. I'm not embarrassed to be carrying it around myself. It easily fits into my diaper bag now that we are home and holds my kleenex pack, back-up wipes, hand sanitizer, lotion and chapstick. It helps keep my otherwise crowded diaper bag from being a completely unorganized mess!

You really should go check out all that DwellStudio has to offer. Their products are carried in stores all across the country, there will surely be one near you. If you're budget is a little tighter these days, but you still would like to experience the beauty of DwellStudio, know that they've recently teamed up with Target and are offering a DwellStudio for Target line as well.

Full Review - based on 4 stars:

Functionality **** - The small travel cases by DwellStudio are the perfect size to fit in your diaper bag, or to hold all those baby travel "necessities" all in one place. The coated canvas is easy to keep clean and the interior is waterproof which means if you have a spill, your whole suitcase or diaper bag won't suffer!

Style **** - I personally have always been a sucker for the DwellStudio designs. There are no bright primary colors, but instead, a bold and muted palette that is appealing to both mommy and child.

Price **1/2 - At $32, these travel cases might be a little on the pricey side, but if you like to be organized, I think that you'll find that they are incredibly functional and the perfect size which may make them worth it to you.

Overall Rating ***1/2 - A well-made and functional product from one of the baby industry leaders in modern design. I love how it helps me stay organized which is getting harder and harder as my kids get older. While unique and hip design is what they're known for, it's nice to know that DwellStudio didn't skimp on function either!
