Review and Giveaway! New Boon Bath Toys

Until I got these new Boon Bath Toys last week I hadn't thought about how monotonous our bath toys had become. That realization was revealed upon my gal's utter joy and thankfulness upon seeing them. I swear she's said "thank you for these new toys mommy" every night since.

Fortunately, these toys have not only brought some new life to bath-time, they have also brought some fun. We got the Scrubble, Splat, and Water Bugs.

Design/Fun Factor *** 1/2 -
Splat is a ring toss game that my husband and I enjoy more than my gal so far. I've seen larger ring tosses for a pool so it's a great idea for the tub.

Water Bugs are three little bugs to catch in a net, not a new idea but fun.

Scrubble is great, it's three squeezable bulbs whose lids screw off and are interchangeable with each other. Each lid has a different hole pattern and texture/design for scrubbing and squeezing out water. These are good for letting your kiddo's practice screwing lids on and off.

The colors and designs on all three of these products are fun and vibrant.

Materials/Durability *** 1/2 -
First off, all three products are BpA-free, Phthalate-free, and PVC-free.

The Scrubble pieces can go in the dishwasher (top-rack). The Splat is a hard plastic, the only downfall is that it sometimes causes the rings to bounce off the base. Not a big deal, but it would be a better if either the base or the rings had a textured rubber or something for a little "grip" when landing on the base. The Water Bugs are the same hard plastic, and the Scrubbles seem to be a combo of plastic and rubber. All are very well-made and will last a long time. I don't anticipate any mold or problems like that...especially because we house them in the aerated Frog Pod and because the Scrubble can go in the dishwasher.

Splat and Water Bugs are both $7.99 and Scrubble is $9.99. I think all three are priced right, (totally in line with other bath toys), plus you get the piece of mind with their safety.

Overall *** 1/2 - Fun designs, colors, and easy to use. These Boon Bath Toys are a great addition to bath time in my humble opinion.
