Functionality **** - The Flipper is a product that works EXACTLY as it is advertised! All you do is use the little suction cups to secure the Flipper to a mirror or other surface. It only took one try to get ours stuck to the mirror, and it has yet to fall off. The rest of the "operation" is simple, too. The two little doors/flaps stay open until you put a toothbrush in, and then they close automatically around the brush when you put it in. To get the brush out, all you do is pull forward and the doors magically swing open again. I wondered about the brush being in an enclosed place, but there are air vents on the sides to allow sufficient ventilation. Nadia's brush is always dry when we use it next, and it's not because we neglect her teeth. (Uncle Matt would be proud!) I'm not really a germaphobe in any way, although I do hate dirt, but if you've ever wondered about whether or not it was sanitary to just have your toothbrush hanging out on the counter, you can worry no more. The Flipper protects your brushes from any random airborne germs and grossness that might be floating around your bathroom. Plus, beyond the simple function, how much fun are these when you're a child? I would have LOVED storing my toothbrushes in a panda or a tiger when I was a kid!

Style **** - There are lots and lots of choices for your kiddos. From dinosaur eggs to koalas to dachsunds, there is sure to be a Flipper your child will identify with. We have the pig which is pretty cute. I know Nadia would love a Dino Egg. I've found it best to have a toothbrush in every bathroom to ease the battles; so, maybe after our big move, we'll "need" to buy some new Flippers.

Price **** - For only $10.99 for a two pack at Target, the Flipper is a steal! So, why did I take off 1/2 a star? If your children are like mine, I could never get away with having the same animal for both my daughter and her younger brother. Luckily, you can also buy individual Flippers at Amazon for between $3 and $7, depending on the style. I know it's a little early to start thinking stocking stuffers already, but these would be awesome!

Overall Rating **** - Flipper really knocked it out of the ballpark with these toothbrush holders! They are simple, inexpensive and they actually work! Whether you're a true germaphobe, a city mom with tiny bathrooms in need of a space saver, or just an ordinary mom looking for a cheap way to indulge your kids a little, you can't go wrong with a Flipper!

I just found this video on You Tube that really shows how germs and viruses spread. It is so cool. It's meant for kids but I even learned a lot!
