So, this is my third post on the GoGo Babyz products, but we just used them on our trip to Hawaii and I thought I'd provide an update on how we used them and our great experience with their customer support.
As noted in my post about the GoGo Babyz Infant Cruizer, I had hoped to use it to transport our carry-on's through the airport, gate check it, and then use it as a stroller once we got there. This plan worked wonderfully. We also used the original GoGo Kidz TravelMate to transport our Britax Marathon through the airport for our older daughter's airplane seat.
Using both of these side-by-side I'd definitely recommend the Infant Cruizer (and necessary adapter for a toddler seat) over the TravelMate if you haven't purchased one of these yet. It's got wheels in the front and is way easier to maneuver. Another perk of the Cruizer is if you have an older tyke they will likely dig pushing it around. They can actually do a good job of it because they can see in front of them unlike a regular stroller.
I probably sold at least 2 of the Cruizers a day down at the pool/beach....so many parents were in awe of it and it got looks every where we went. Even grandparents were writing down the name of it to give to their kids. And yes, I said beach. It took a little effort but it rode across the beach pulling it backwards, much better than an umbrella stroller would have.
I truly love this product, it's just so compact and simple to use. With that said, it did get a little banged up. The front of it dented in a bit (I'm guessing from when we gate-checked it), and the axle bent a little....neither of these have affected the usability of it, nonetheless, GoGo sent us a replacement axle just in case.
Also, one of the wheels on the TravelMate kept falling off on the way through the airport once we got home. Definitely a bummer, but I'm happy to say that GoGo sent a replacement wheel no problem. I was very pleased with the customer service.
Overall I highly recommend the Cruizer to anyone who travels a lot. Even if you've got one big plane ride planned I think it's so worth it because you'll find you end up using it more than just that trip. I used it a couple of times this week solo with my youngest and again had people oogling at it.
