Click on read more below for my full review of two of the new must-have fall styles from Crocs.
Review is based on a four-star scale:
Design and Ease of Use ***1/2 - Nadia has absolutely no trouble getting her Mackenzies on, and they close with a velcro strap. As for Isaac's, his are just a slip on style, and they couldn't be easier for me to get on his feet. The opening is nice and wide, although while this makes them easy to get on, it also means they fall off a little more frequently than perhaps a different style would which is why I took off 1/2 a star. The stay on while he's playing, but we occasionally lose one when I'm getting him out of the car or a shopping cart. Personally though, I don't worry as much about them falling off as I do about the shoes providing enough traction when he's climbing on a wet Seattle playground. Isaac totally put these to the test today as he climbed on the slippery wet equipment at the children's museum today, and he never lost his footing once. What a confidence builder for a little one!
Materials and Durability **** - Ummm, these are Crocs. They will last forever!
Style **** - Both of these new fall styles look much more like a real shoe and a lot less like traditional Crocs for all you haters out there. The Mackenzie colors are super girly and fun and come with two little "jewel" Jibbitz already attached with room for two more, too! Black and hot pink is my favorite color combo, although to appease Nadia, we went for the pink and pink version for her. There are only three Teton styles, but I'm guessing you'll find the three choices to be sufficient to match just about anything your little guy wears. We have the black charcoal, and seriously, Isaac wears them every day. They are great with jeans, but also with his sweat pants which is nice.
Sizing **** - Again, unlike traditional Crocs, both the Mackenzie and the Teton are available in exact sizes. Instead of buying a 10/11 for Nadia, she's wearing a straight 10. They are probably a little big, but I think she's more of a 9 or a 9 1/2 right now. She never complains that they are uncomfortable and has no trouble running or climbing in them. Isaac is wearing a 6 and it fits perfectly!

Price **** - Both pairs come in under the $35 mark! Yes, I can buy cheaper shoes at Target, but why would I? I've never been as happy with a single pair of cheap shoes as I am with these Crocs. I trust the brand. I know they will last. My kids love them, and I don't have to struggle to get them on their feet. Totally, totally worth every penny!
Overall Rating **** - Do I even need to explain myself here? I love these shoes. Isaac loves his shoes. Nadia loves her shoes. We love Crocs and are super excited about these awesome new fall versions! Now when Nadia wants to wear her Crocs to school on a rainy, muddy Seattle day, I don't have to say no, I get to say, OF COURSE! If you already love the original Crocs, then you will love these new styles, too!
