Today dear readers, I'm going to get straight to the point - I LOVE Mabel's Labels. Seriously, I'm practically giddy with excitement because I get not only the chance to write about them again today, but also because I get the chance to share them with one lucky reader today, too! (More on that in a moment.) Why do I jump at the opportunity to talk about Mabel's Labels any chance I get? Well, first and foremost, they are a product that makes my life SO much simpler. Take for instance this morning. It was a balmy 14 degrees (Fahrenheit that is!) outside here in SEATTLE! Yes, Seattle, where the lowest temp on record is 10 degrees. Of course, I was prepared with warm winter clothing that I bought last year when I thought we would still be in Chicago, but none of it is labeled for preschool. As we were running out the door at the last second, just like we do everyday, I made a quick detour to my secret Mabel's hiding spot, grabbed a Tag-Mate for Nadia's coat, and we were off! So simple, and I know for a fact that her coat will still be labeled next winter if we need it to be because Mabel's Labels DON'T COME OFF! Really, I swear, they don't come off. We labeled some sippy cups with some Mabel's Labels Skinny-Minis Labels over a year ago, and even after an almost daily trip through the dishwasher, they are still completely stuck on! And, the colors haven't faded at all! They are still as hot pink as the day I stuck them on! I've quit being amazed every time they come out of the dishwasher. Not in a bad way, but in a "Well of course they're going to continue to stick. They're Mabel's Labels."
While it's true that most of the products we review here on Kid Buy Products are free samples that are sent to us, it's also true that I love Mabel's Labels so much that I buy their products, too! After settling in to our new home last month, I realized it was time to order some new address labels. I went ahead and ordered my holiday labels, too.
Both are of the same quality that I've come to expect from Mabel's. The colors are vibrant. The print is easy to read, and the labels are heavy-duty, much more so than any other address label I've ever purchased in the past. The Mabel's Labels product on my wish list for next year? Holiday Gift Tags. The only reason why I didn't order any this year is because I need to use up all the random blank ones I have leftover from years past. Every year it seems like there's more and more presents to wrap. Anything I can do to simplify my life around the holidays is well-received!Remember that free sample thing I was talking about earlier? Well, to coincide with the recent launch of their beautiful new Label Out Label full-color sticky labels, Mabel's sent me a pack of labels to try out. Again, the quality is out of this world and the colors are even more amazing in person. You can choose from 20 different design motifs, and they are not too babyish, either. These are the labels your big kids are going to want to stick on their stuff! And, you know they won't come off! The new Label Out Loud Labels are sold in colorful packs of 45 stickers and are only $21. Forty-five stickers will go a long way, and will totally repay you when you don't have to replace your children's school supplies, books, sippy cups, lunch boxes... you get the idea.
I leave you with that today. I'm pressing my luck on getting everything done that I need to before my kiddos wake from their naps, but I could go on and on about Mabel's forever. Once again, they are one of those products that started off as something that I was just curious about trying, and they've turned into a product I can't live without. If you're not already of a fan of Mabel's Labels on Facebook, you should be. Those ladies are always having fun and sharing great ideas with their Fans. Plus, every couple of months they clean out their sample bins and give dozens of labels away on Facebook and Twitter. Those days are always fun! my favorite is the lizard
The dinosaur is very cute, though hubby would probably rather the skull and cross bones and my son might think the race car has the edge.
Thanks
