Hi there. My name is Liz and I am a friend of Nichole's. I currently live in Birmingham, MI and have a daughter named Cameile who just turned 2. Nichole asked us to review the Adorable Kinders Soft Rag doll. We received the "Faith" doll, an 18 inch tall, super cute brown haired girl with a sun top and shorts. It was great to see some summer clothes since it's been in the 20s and 30s in MI! The clothes are removeable and can be interchanged with other dolls in the collection.
Cameile has many stuffed animals and baby dolls, but this is her first "rag" doll. As soon as Faith was out of the box, she was immediately taken to the baby stroller for a test run. She has become a regular for naps and bedtime as well.
The dolls are made in the USA and come with an internet key code, which can be used to register the doll online. It also includes access to an online eSchool, designed for ages 4 and up. Cameile won't be using the online tools yet, but an older child would probably have fun checking it out.
On to the review, all ratings out of 4 stars.
Materials/Durability **** - Faith is very well made. The seams are tight, the fabric is strong and while the doll is soft enough to snuggle with, it is stiff enough to sit up and hold it's shape during play. There aren't any hard plastic parts, like eyes or a nose, to worry about falling off. I don't envision needing to make any repairs over the course of our time together. The doll is washable and is filled with non-allergenic 100% polyester.
Fun Factor *** - I can definitely see Cameile having fun with Faith for a long time. After the stuffed animals lose their appeal I think that Faith will be going strong, making a great companion for tea parties, bike rides, and road trips.
Design/Style *** - Due to the fact that the doll is 18" high and weighs less than 2lbs, I feel like Faith will "grow" well with Cameile. It's tall and light enough to be carted around easily, but not too small as to get lost with all the other toys. They have several options, both male and female.
Price ** - The price is $59.99 and at first I thought this was a bit pricey for a doll. After seeing how well it was made and the fact that it is made in the US, the price seems a bit more reasonable. It might be a good gift to get from grandma and grandpa or for a special occasion.
Overall *** - I think this is a well made product in a market with many dolls of this caliber. It is priced a bit high, but not unreasonably so. I think Cameile will get lots of use out of it and could be passed on to another child or kept as a keepsake for a long time.

Every year after school started in September my grandmother would drag out her huge rag bag and turn the pantry off the kitchen into a doll manufacturing site. Until the first week in December she would make lovely, cute rag dolls for the less advantaged children in our town for Christmas. My job, after I became old enough, was to put their names (I choose them) and their vitals on the tags that were attached to them. These little sweeties remind me so much of my Grandmother's dolls. I especially love Alise because she looks like I did back then.
Facebook Fan also.
I really like the Hope doll, she reminds me of my niece.
